Mehran Shekari (December 28, 2000 – November 3, 2022)

Mehran Shekari, born on December 28, 2000, was from Qushachay, Miandoab. He was the only child of his family. After the death of his father, he lived with his maternal uncle for a period and moved to Karaj to learn the trade of plasterwork, hoping to build a better future for himself.
On November 3, 2022, Mehran attended the memorial ceremony marking the fortieth day after the death of Hadis Najafi in the Khorramdasht (Gohardasht) area of Karaj. According to published accounts, he lost his life after being struck by a gunshot during the gathering.
Following the incident, Mehran's body remained in the custody of the authorities for a period, and his family reportedly faced significant difficulties and pressure in recovering it.
Mehran Shekari is remembered by many as one of the young people whose name has become a symbol of a generation whose hopes and aspirations were cut short.
On the anniversary of his birth, his family and loved ones gathered at his grave in Miandoab to honor his memory.
